Mall farmer in Madhya Pradesh Got Lucky Diamond

A small farmer in Madhya Pradesh got lucky with the unearthing of a 14.98-carat diamond; it has made him an instant millionaire. The precious stone fetched a whopping ₹60.60 lakh at a recent auction, turning life upside down for Lakhan Yadav, who owns two acres of land.

Last month, this spectacular discovery was made at Krishna Kalyanpur Panna district, which is well known for its diamond mines. For Yadav, whose fortune had never struck with diamonds before, this was nothing less than a miracle. “I am happy. This is a God’s gift. I will use the money from the proceeds for the education of my children,” an elated Yadu told reporters.

Among these, one diamond was among 74 diamonds of 129.83 carats that were sold at ₹1.65 crore in the three-day auction conducted by the diamond office. 203 diamonds were put up for auction, out of which 131 will return next year for auction.

This amazing stroke of luck has brightened the lives of Yadav and his family. As often said, dreams do come true.
